Riverland is a themed area where you can eat out and shop and is connected to multiple theme parks in Dubai such as Legoland, MotionGate, Legoland Waterpark, Bollywood Parks and in the future Sixflags. You can visit Riverland for free even when you are not visiting the themeparks. When you visit Riverland you will feel like as if you have traveled back in time. Walk through a rustic French village or an Asian metropolis, all connected by the same artificial river. In Riverland you can enjoy many different shops and restaurants in a beautiful rustic setting.
As you may be used to from other major theme parks or water parks, the Riverland park is also divided into different zones. In each of these areas you can experience other adventures, so make sure you visit them all. The heart of Riverland is ‘The Peninsula’. This island is completely surrounded by the gigantic river that flows through the entire park. In The Peninsula you can enjoy various different festivals and concerts that are organized in the large open-air theater. What you will notice in this area of ??the park is the 19th-century theme in architecture and the many bridges. Here you will also find several restaurants and bars where you can enjoy delicious dishes or a nice refreshing drink to relax after an active day in the water.
One of the other areas in Riverland is the vibrant and colorful India Gate. Enjoy all the special forms of entertainment that Asia has to offer in this area of ??the park. You will find impressive works of art and sculptures that will enchant you. You imagine yourself in exotic India and can also enjoy the most delicious Asian dishes here.
Make sure you also visit The Boardwalk when visiting Riverland Dubai. Are you here with the whole family? Then the children will fully enjoy this part of the park. When you walk through The Boardwalk, you get the feeling that you have arrived in the United States of the 1950s because of the typical architecture, the palm trees and the splashing neon letters. The streets are filled with entertainment and spectacle. You can find jugglers and other live street artists here.
Finally, there is the French Village. In this picturesque, reconstructed French village on the water, you will quickly feel at home. Take in all the beautiful historical architecture inspired by the late seventeenth century in Europe. Here you will find towers and a water wheel. And of course many delicious eateries and cozy shops.
Riverland Dubai is located about 25 mins south of Dubai Marina. The metro doesn't run till Riverland Dubai so to get there you need to take the metro to UAE Exchange and take a taxi from there. The taxi will drop you at Riverland.
From Downtown Dubai take Sheikh Zayed Road past Dubai Marina and Jebel Ali, till you see Riverland Dubai on the left side of the road. There's a large parking where you can park your car for 20 AED. Parking after 18:30 is free.
