Almost everyone knows the London Eye. the giant Ferris wheel on the Thames with the huge glass capsules that offer a view of London. Dubai also has such a Ferris wheel, but the one in Dubai is the largest Ferris wheel in the world. The Ain Dubai, sometimes also called the Dubai Eye, is located on the Bluewaters island off the coast of the JBR beach. From the Ferris wheel you have a magnificent view of the skyscrapers along the JBR beach and Palm Jumeirah.
The Ain Dubai is 210 meters tall which is taller than most skyscrapers. The height comes pretty close to the Eiffel Tower in Paris, which is 300 meters tall. So it’s obvious that you have a great view from the Ain Dubai including Dubai’s main landmarks such as the Burj Al Arab, the Palm Jumeirah and the Burj Khalifa. When you visit Ain Dubai in the evening, you have a magnificent view of the illuminated skyline of Dubai. Along the JBR beach are many skyscrapers that are beautifully illuminated in the evening. On board Ain Dubai you take a seat in one of the 48 capsules, each of which is 30 square meters in size and made entirely of glass so that you have a 360 view. Forty people can take place in each of the capsules which have air conditioning, because it takes about 45 minutes before you are completely round. In the capsules information about what you see around you is shown on LED screens. The Ain Dubai also has VIP capsules that can accommodate twelve people and where you can have something to eat and drink.

The highest rope climbing platform in the world is located at the Ain Dubai at 150 meters! This only suits real daredevils! Ain Dubai is located on Bluewaters island and can by reached by taking the Dubai metro to Nakheel Harbour and Towers stations. From there you need to change to the monorail which will bring you to the Bluewaters island. Alternatively you can walk over the footbridge from JBR beach.
