Dubai Fountain is one of those few fountains in the world known for its spectacular dancing water show. The Dubai fountains were designed by the same company that created the world-famous dance-to-music fountain in front of the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas. However the Dubai Fountain includes many advanced features with some high pyrotechnic blasts, high-pressure water shoots resembling the shapes of firework displays and extraordinary swirls. When the fountains were opened in 2009 they included extreme shooters with the pressure capacity to 420 ft in the air, but those extreme shooters were disabled for energy conservation reasons. But don’t worry, the present day Dubai fountains only use super shooters with 240ft in the air capacity. so the show is still amazing!
The Dubai fountain show is accompanied by some regional and international music and some of the popular songs used in the fountain show are Andrea Bocelli s Con te partiro, Arabian dance number Shik Shak and the award-winning Swahili song. While the music plays you can see the fountain dancing on the music with more than 6000 illuminated lights and colorful projectors. You will see the bright beams of lights that make each stream of the dancing fountain look shiny, colorful and vibrant during the night.

When taking the Dubai metro you need to get off at the Burj Khalifa / Dubai Mall station. From there you need to take the airconditioned Metro Link bridge, which is about a ten minutes walk to the Dubai Mall. Alternatively you can take bus 27 from the Deira Gold Souk station or bus 29 from the Ghubaiba bus station. The buses stop in front of the Grand Drive Entrance, Lower Ground Floor of the Dubai Mall. Once at the Dubai Mall you follow the signs to the Dubai Fountains which you can reach via the Lowerground floor.
Take the Financial Centre Road exit and park your car in the huge car park under the Dubai Mall. Once at the mall you follow the signs to the Dubai Fountains which you can reach via the Lowerground floor.
