But for young kids the best waterpark of Dubai is possibly the Legoland Waterpark, which you can find next to Legoland Dubai: the ideal combination of cheerful lego figures and delicious refreshment.
When the regular Legoland park opened in Dubai in October 2016, the Legoland Waterpark was opened at the same time. Both parks are part of Dubai Parks & Resorts where you can also find the theme parks Motiongate, Bollywood Parks and Sixflags Dubai. Although there are several water parks located in Dubai, Legoland Waterpark is the only water park in Dubai that specifically targets younger kids between two and twelve years old. If you are on holiday with your family and want to experience water fun with the little ones, a visit to Legoland Waterpark Dubai should not be missed. In the park you will find more than twenty compelling attractions and water slides so you won’t get bored easily.
One of the most popular attractions in the park is ‘Build-a-boat’, where you can build yourself with lego blocks. Build with your own boat with with your whole family and let it sail through the water. If you want to build a something bigger, visit the ‘Build-a-Raft-River’ attraction, where you can build your own raft of big lego blocks and then make a trip on the river. The smallest visitors will enjoy the ‘Duplo Splash Safari’. where toddlers can enjoy slides and other fun water attractions which are safe for the younger ones. In the ‘Joker Soaker’ you can soak all your friends.
Usually visitors book their ticket to Legoland Waterpark Dubai in combination with a ticket for the regular Legoland Park or one of the other theme parks that are located in Dubai Parks & Resorts. When you buy a combination ticket you get a big discount. But it is also possible to order a day ticket for the Legoland Waterpark Dubai only.
Legoland Waterpark Dubai is located about 25 mins south of Dubai Marina. The metro doesn't run till Legoland Waterpark Dubai so to get there you need to take the metro to UAE Exchange and take a taxi from there. The taxi will drop you at Riverland and from there you can walk to Legoland Waterpark Dubai.
From Downtown Dubai take Sheikh Zayed Road past Dubai Marina and Jebel Ali, till you see Legoland Waterpark Dubai on the left side of the road. There's a large parking where you can park your car for 20 AED. Parking after 18:30 is free.
