Dubai is a great destination for a sky dive because the weather is always clear and there are many things to see during your dive. There a few places where you have a better view during your free fall than over Dubai and that’s why a skydive above Dubai is a popular activity for many tourists!
Dubai has a large skydiving school where young and old as well as beginner and advanced can join. You can do a tandem jump with an instructor or make a solo jump yourself. You can choose from two locations to do your skydive: the first one above the desert and the other one above the Palm Jumeirah island. The jump above the Palm is a bit more expensive but it’s the definitely the best option. Only from above you can see that these man-made islands are shaped in the form of a palm. From JBR beach you can see the planes with the parachutists coming and going all day long. During your skydive you will fall down with almost 200 kilometers per hour and a cameraman or woman jumps with you to record your jump. Back at home you can show your jump to everywhere!
If you want to learn to make a solo skydive you can learn this in the Skydive Dubai school. World class instructors will train you to all possible levels, but it will take time before you can jump on your own. So this might not fit within your holiday but you can do this if you stay in Dubai longer.
If you don’t dare to skydive, but still want to see Dubai from above, you can fly in a gyrocopter at Skydive Dubai. Throughout the day there are multiple flights of 20 minutes which will show Dubai in a unique way.
