Nowhere in the world you can find as many extremes as in Dubai. In the largest mall in the world, the Dubai Mall, you will find the largest indoor virtual reality arcade in the world. This theme park with the name VR Park, or PVRK for short, is located on the 2nd floor near the Dubai Mall cinema. Just like in a normal theme park you will find roller coasters and attractions in the VR Park. But they are very different from how you are used, because in these attractions you will get Virtual Reality glasses, which creates an unprecedented experience. The use of differences in temperature, sounds and odors, makes you feel like you are in a different world.
You can visit PVRK for free and just walk in to see the attractions. Once inside you can buy a card with credits using one of the vending machines. You can use the credit to pay for the more than twenty different attractions in the park. There are enough attractions for all ages, so that everyone in the family will enjoy themselves. You can shoot zombies in The Walking Dead, fly a drone to the top of the Burj Khalifa, make a desert safari, take a parachute jump or take a balloon trip over Dubai or drop down from the top of the Burj Khalifa. Are you crazy about film and television series? In VR Park Dubai your favorite films come to life. You will think you are on the set of the movie for real. You can shoot on mummies like the one from The Mummy. Or take on the role of action hero John Wick and save the day. With VR Sport you can make an adventurous virtual ski tour. With the VR glasses on during the attraction, all adventures are lifelike. Smaller children can participate in some attractions without VR glasses.
Since PVRK is located in the Dubai Mall it is the ideal way to give the kids a break after hours of shopping. There are plenty of other options to give them a break, because in addition to PVRK, there are an ice rink, the Dubai aquarium, a mega cinema, the Dubai fountain show and the viewing platform on the Burj Khalifa located in the Dubai Mall.
When taking the Dubai metro you need to get off at the Burj Khalifa / Dubai Mall station. From there you need to take the airconditioned Metro Link bridge, which is about a ten minutes walk to the Dubai Mall. Alternatively you can take bus 27 from the Deira Gold Souk station or bus 29 from the Ghubaiba bus station. The buses stop in front of the Grand Drive Entrance, Lower Ground Floor of the Dubai Mall. Once at the Dubai Mall you follow the signs to the VR Park.
Take the Financial Centre Road exit and park your car in the huge car park under the Dubai Mall. Once at the mall you follow the signs to the VR Park.
